Hacking Official Xbox One Retroarch Thread

Okay. At the risk of jinxing myself, I *THINK* I made a little bit of progress here. I uninstalled and reinstalled RetroArch for what feels like the hundredth time, set RetroArch to Game, rebooted the console, launched RetroArch, updated the core files, controller profiles, and databases, but...

Hacking Official Xbox One Retroarch Thread

Tried RetroArch again in dev mode last night after completely wiping my console and it's still doing the same thing. I even tried manually copying over a backup of a LocalState folder I made back when I had RetroArch working and that didn't work either. What in the world?! Also want to note that...

Hacking Official Xbox One Retroarch Thread

I have several times. Sometimes it lets me back into RetroArch and sometimes it doesn't. If I proceed to update the assets, databases, and core files, it will download them and extract them just fine, but when I exit RetroArch (either from the menu or the Xbox guide) and try to relaunch it, I...

Hacking Official Xbox One Retroarch Thread

Thank you for the reply! Thank goodness I'm not the only one. This seemed to work...at first. I was able to exit out of Retroarch and go back into it. Then I updated the assets and quit out of Retroarch and now I'm right back into took-to-long-to-startopolis. Either something got corrupted in my...

Hacking Official Xbox One Retroarch Thread

I've been wracking my brain for hours trying to figure this out and I hope I can get some help here. I cannot get past the "For some reason, RetroArch took too long to start" error with it set to Game instead of App. When I first set it up on my One X, I kept it in App mode to play a few games...

    ReiNX 2.4 released

Yes. Edit: So I'm dumb and missed the suggestion in the OP to try deleting all of the reiNX files off of the SD card and copying over the new files as a "fresh" install. That did the trick. Sleep mode is working normally again.

    ReiNX 2.4 released

I'm still having the issue where pressing the power button shuts the system down completely so I have to use the payload or boot it back into OFW even with the fix. I already updated to 8.1.0 before loading reiNX 2.4 for the first time. I just overwrote all of the files included in the release...

Hacking A Webkit Exploit PoC has just been released for PS4 OFW 3.50.

This is exciting news. Hopefully there's a way to play backup games soon.

    Hacking Loadiine GX2

So, just to update the thread on my Hyrule Warriors issue: Turns out my copy of the game was corrupted. I found another source and now the game seems to work fine. I've been waiting a year for this! Thank you to all of the developers here that made this possible and keep up the awesome work!

    Hacking Loadiine GX2

To add to this, I tried Captain Toad with the same version of Loadiine and it works fine. So I updated Loadiine to the latest nightly build as of this post (8f0f7a8) and when I try to launch Hyrule Warriors with all default settings, it crashes with the stack dump error screen a couple of other...

    Hacking Loadiine GX2

Speaking of Hyrule Warriors, I put the code, content, and meta files on my SD card correctly, was able to load the exploit and homebrew launcher on 5.5.1, it shows up in Loadiine, loads all of the update prompts after getting the v144 update with JNUSTool and replacing the game files, but then...

Hacking Wii U Hacking & Homebrew Discussion

I know this has probably been asked to death, but I just want to be absolutely sure: Do I lose any chance of using homebrew in the near future if I update from 5.5.0 to 5.5.1?

Hacking PS4 Code Execution + Basic Homebrew

Really hoping with the recent fail0verflow/Linux breakthrough that the PS4 gets hacked wide open this year like the PS3 eventually did. I know it will happen eventually with 30+ million systems out there.

Another person here saying Thank You for all your contributions to the Wii U. I noticed you did a little poking around with the PS4 as well. What is your opinion on the same exploits being possible on the PS4 now that Fail0verflow has gotten Linux installed onto the machine (with what I'm...
