    Hacking AK2i expected lifetime?

i think nintendo is encouraging game developers (for both DSIware and just standard games) to incorporate the new dsi features such as the cameras. I bet some developers can get creative with this. Who knows, maybe nintendo will be able to take pictures of us as we play hacked dsi-camera games...

    Hacking Spring Loader Broken

I noticed that my new AK2i may have the same problem. I mean, I am not recognizing any spring resistance as I push in the micro card. Every now and then I can hear a faint click - but the seating of the card is a little awkward and I never feel as if it is in "all the way". I thought that I...

Hacking Early 16 GB Transcend Class 6 AK2i Results

yeah - it was definitely around $80. Veign posted the correct link to Amazon. I figured if I am going to do this - I am going to do it right - so I dropped the money on it. I just like a lot of space! Anyways thos 8gb transcends should be just as great. I will have to do a performance test...

Hacking Early 16 GB Transcend Class 6 AK2i Results

Hey all - I thought I would briefly share my experience with my new AK2i thus far. First off, I ordered the AK2i from modchipcentral, and I used Overnight Shipping. I never ordered from Canada before, so I was pretty oblivious as to what "overnight" really means. It took 6 days to get here...

    Hacking NesDS on AK2i

Okay. I have read the readme, and I have read the wiki. I am still a little fuzzy on using nesDS, though. I have ndstool and I have created a .nds batch-file using the .bat provided. A .gba and .nds file are both created. NOW, I just drag and drop this newly created .nds file (which is...

Hacking ak2i does not show up anymore (dsi)

i'll have to get Suikoden Tierkreis (EU) first and try. It may be a corrupted rom with a bad dump? Did you get the rom from a Good romset or off some random site?

Hacking ak2i does not show up anymore (dsi)

maybe updating the firmware on the DSi to 1.3 could fix it? (or maybe not) - just throwing out ideas. Mine is working on 1.3U. Maybe AKAIO 1.4.1 proper will respond differently to the updated DS firmware?

    Hacking ROM organization on AceKard

well, right now I am using a Kingston 4gb class 4 - for this is what I ordered with the AK21 - and it is working great with my vintage SNES roms. However, I have a 16 gb Transcend class 6 on the way, and I am hoping for this to be my main unit. I will definitely let everyone know how this...

    Hacking ROM organization on AceKard

nice - I have been doing this and it seems to work perfectly. Now, what do I do about DS emulators (NO$GBA) since the emulators are .exe? Do I put these emulators in the root directory of the SDHC card? Does DS-emulation require a .nds emulator? Thanks a lot!

    Hacking ROM organization on AceKard

Hey all - I am sorry if this has been asked - but I do not know how to search for it... I just received my AK2i, and I am wondering what is the optimal way to put my ROM folders on the micro SDHC card? I am planning on having each system (such as SNES) have it's own folder with all the roms and...

    Hacking AK2 question board

yikes - I never really thought about having problems with this 16gb card I ordered with AKAIO. I have yet to receive the card - my fingers are crossed - I'll let everyone know if the 16gb is friendly or not.

    Rom "versions"?!

Well, here it is.... the question of the year .... I have always wondered - what do the bracketed letters/numbers in many ROM filenames (especially NES and SNES) mean? For example: [b1], [t1], [h1], [01], and [!]. I usually just use the ROM that has just [!], but I do not know if this is the...
