  • if i get this right a9lhax is just like menuhax but faster, right?

Er, sort of. It boots at a lower level than menuhax, before the 3DS OS has even started. This gives you a chance to run recovery utilities in case the 3DS bricks, giving you a sort of software "hard mod" if you will. It also obviously lets you run CFW on boot, with zero chance of the boot failing if your setup is correct/not bricked.

ok cool, thanks. i rarely ever do risky stuff with my 3ds, is it worth bothering to set up emunand to launch from a9lhax or should I just stick with menuhax?

Well, my opinion would be biased towards doing it, but if you're not really having any complaints with boot speed or boot rates, there's probably no reason to switch. A9LH is great, but it does come with risks, and I get that not everyone would want to do it.
its still funny to me that people still beg for demo codes. haven't people learned to subscribe to nintendos newsletter yet??

Whilst you sit on your lofty throne and laugh at the burning, flaming peasants below, you have a pile of demo codes in a corner
I think IP bans are a bad idea on all site b/c IPs are non-static and you may randomly end up with a banned one
    migles
    migles
yeah, but makes sense, specially since servers usually have a static ip, and this way you can filter bots...

They're ineffective. You could ban a range of ips but you really open yourself to the possibility of false positives then.
The best April fool's joke would be not tempiibo, but announcing that GW supports 9.6 lol

Bortz Been trying to report a bug in the 'Site Discussions' forum but the bug prevents me from doing that. Any page I open up on this site gives me a "Load jQuery First!" error and the resultant page looks slightly messed eg. the thread creation page is missing the actual text box to type my post into. Problem started this morning. No idea who to contact or how since most text boxes are missing
How are people with 8.1 New 3DS consoles gonna use the exploit if they can't open the browser?
    Kioku
    Kioku
They wont because no web based exploit works with the n3ds
Gateway ISN'T a piracy device, jfc. it allows you to run pirated games, yeah, but that's not its sole purpose
    Sicklyboy
    Sicklyboy
Not anymore, no, but originally it was solely for piracy. You can't argue that.

The sole purpose is piracy, because piracy sells. Gateway couldn't give two shits about anything else. It can be used for homebrew, but that was never its purpose, just an afterthought by GW.

i feel like I'm the only one who uses the gw on a daily basis but hasn't pirated a single game yet. its really just region free and home-brew and custom made themes and whatnot for me

alot of yt to mp3 sites are blocked by light speed for "Security"
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
