    I'm having this problem since some months ago. My Wii is a modded one (D2CKey) with 4.2u. I belive that since a installed some Cios (I don't really know; I don't remember) the Disc Channel stopped working. I still could play all my games just fine, but using Gecko app on the Homebrew Channel...
