    Quality would be a key part of that discussion, and we would have to ponder whether the Amiga and things like it get included in this.
    Games can also vary between regions quite considerably (many things being big in Japan, though the Japanese MSX, x68000 and other scenes provide their own fun as there are missing/undumped things in collector hands).

    4 consoles per generation, 200 USD each for a playable one (if doing sub models then more) with controllers, 9 generations or so. Later systems have more games but call it 1500 per console, maybe 20 per game but some will be less and others a lot more for just a basic version of the game (think sports game vs hidden gem RPG). https://datomatic.no-intro.org/ for a start, no pricing though.

    I've been checking Switch prices in my area lately and the Lite is (approximately) $200 except for the coral blue version which is $180 for absolutely no reason. It's not on a special discount or anything, that color just costs less and yet people still choose other colors. Coral blue is too ghey for Croatia I suppose.
