People, you are making me install this OS. I have XP Pro SP3... I'll create a partition and install Windows 7 in it. Would I get any problems doing so?
I'm using Verbatim DVD+R and, so far, everything's fine. Well, maybe one game did not work... but my DVD writer "choked" during the writing session, so it's probably its fault, no the DVD's.
My 3.2E Wii's softmodded with Starfall and Gamma 0.3 w/002 Fix. I launch my backups from the Backup Loader Channel.
PS: It seems I've been out of the loop... Which is this new method for loading games? How do you launch backups from the Disk Channel?
I'm pretty sure he's talking about "every-day computers", not supercomputers or servers, which usually have higher amounts of RAM than a desktop or laptop PC. But, anyway, thanks for your answer. I've always wondered this myself, so it's welcome info ^^

When you say "ISO", are you sure you don't mean "IOS"? They are two different things. "IOS" are the system files needed by the Wii to execute certain functions. ISO is a CD/DVD image. Can you remember what WADs you were installing? At least, what was their function? Games? Apps?
