    I would definitely recommend proceeding. From what I've read (I did quite a bit of research before starting), it's pretty much as safe as running an EmuNAND. I too was attached to the safety of using EmuNAND, but honestly going with the SysNAND CFW seems to be the best way to go at this point.

    Hey I wanted to ask if you knew whether I could fix the CLK pad that ripped off by replacing it using a silver conductive pen? Thank you. Each console has it's on unique NAND. You must use a NAND backup from YOUR own console or else you risk bricking your device.

    Well the first part would be completely unnecessary, at least until someone hard-mods your 3DS. I'd suggest running a homebrew payload AFTER you downgrade your FW to a version that supports Sysupdater.

    The CLK point I mentioned is on the top, as opposed to the others being on the bottom. It's not too difficult taking the ribbon cables out, you just want to be gentle and use tweezers.
