Homebrew Q2rev -Quake 2 for Wii-

I haven't tested it out yet (thinking about doing it today), but QWRev seems a lot more impressive to me. It's a port of the QuakeWorld client for the Wii. It supports Q1Rev and Q2Rev, has full network support, and can download maps. If it plays well, then this is a must have for Quake owners...

    Homebrew Emulator vs Virtual Console

That's weird, because my copy of Super Metriod has no problem with me using a GC controller. You might want to give that another look.

    Hacking The Conduit Config File(CDGame.txt)

Well I was over at the cesspool that is the gamefaqs messageboard trying to figure out if there was an actual point to the Ranks in Multiplayer other than to make you look 1337, and (take this with as many grains of salt as you will) someone who is supposedly one of the devs at HVS, by that I...

    Hacking The Conduit Config File(CDGame.txt)

Just a heads up, I've heard talk that Nintendo as of July 2nd started a massive ban session, I have no idea if they'll be able to notice if you've messed with CDGame.txt, but just be careful out there. I mean it's definitely good news because it will cut down on people cheating online though.

    Hacking The Conduit Config File(CDGame.txt)

I would LOVE to know if setting up LAN matches actually works, though I doubt anyone has the means to test it out. I know I don't.

    Hacking Coverflow demo

I just raised the camera up a bit in the settings, it looks fine.

Hacking Will it hurt my wii if I accidentally install a foriegn wad?

You could have gotten a wad that was mislabeled or not labeled at all, then it would be an accident.

I think that's what he's mad about, so maybe we can all stop being off topic now.

    Hacking Coverflow demo

Oh I don't think you're coming off as snobby in a bad way. I can totally see where you're coming from. It's just in the sense of what's going on here, I'm also trying to think of something that's going to be more time efficient. I mean there's a lot of Wii games out there, it would take a while...

    Hacking Coverflow demo

I mean I'm pretty snobby when it comes to image formats myself, but the images on the two sites I linked to are so insanely high-res for our purposes that if you were to resize them in photoshop and then save them to a png you wouldn't really notice any artifacts. I mean we're talking a general...

    Hacking Coverflow demo

Was just about to post this link: http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cat_id=18 They are .jpg's but I mean it's easy enough to save something as a png. **EDIT** http://www.cdcovers.cc/list/wii/a

    Hacking Coverflow demo

Ummm this thread is getting kind of derailed methinks. I think the best way to put it is this. Everyone will probably get the source code, but only once this hits a stable release (fully working coverflow, with the actual ability to load games). At least that's how I think it will go down. Just...

    Hacking Coverflow demo

I'd say at least trying out the idea of using a 3D box wouldn't be a horrible idea at least to see how it looks. Then again, I don't know much from the coding end of things, so if it would be a pain to implement, then it might be more work than it's worth, but I would love to see how it would...

Hacking USB Loader with Multiple Boxart Images.

Yeah, that's why I went back to using r3. Oh, and I forgot to reply to Apple saying I didn't need to put his name on the background. The only reason I actually did that was to even out the composition of the image haha. I needed to put something on the opposite side of "Waninkoko's USB Loader"...

Hacking USB Loader with Multiple Boxart Images.

Yeah, I'm just biting the bullet and doing that too. Hopefully the Pal releases don't look too different... An easier solution to fix the position of the small images would be to just move the background elements instead I think. **EDIT** Yeah, they work now. Now all I need is a matching Wii...
