R4 is outdated, AceKard 2 got some problematic batches every now and then...
And You said that you won't buy a Cyclo because it's too costly..

So...

EDGE might be a good choice, as it's a CycloDS Evo clone.

DSTT is a good card. And it's CHEAP.

Still, I would get a SCDS One, it's updated pretty often and the team's known as reliable, and is full of functions.
And you can multiboot the DSTT (and YSMenu) on it.
 
Go ahead and get the Cyclo, its cheaper than buying a card now and then buying another 6 months down the line.

Get a scds-1 and a kingston 2gb from deal extreme. Cheap as chips and no need to lose out on any features via the 3OS setup.... run any rom with any one of 3 cheat engines, for example, including an exclusive real-time one.
 
Good heavens! Why on earth should you pay $53 dollars for a Flashcard? I mean, since you're getting every DS game you want without paying, it's obviously a rip-off!
 
Of the three, Supercard DS One is probably the best. You shouldn't consider the DSTT at all. You should consider the Acekard 2 which is better than the Edge or the DSTT, and has a nicer menu and is more intuitive to use but has fewer features than the SCDS1.

Exactly! I'm about to order an acekard 2 next month (just depends on how much money I spent on clothes, lol) so that's what I'm going to suggest.
 
I've used the Acekard 2, the CycloDS Evolution and the Supercard DS1, and the Evolution is by far the best of the three. The AK2 has a really nice menu, but it doesn't have great support from its makers (they're mostly leaving it up to homebrewers to add features) and it is less tolerant of slow memory cards. The SCDS1 has lots of neat-o features, but its interface really blows. The Evolution has a fairly good interface, and nearly all of the special features that the SCDS1 has.
