So we have a list of reputable flashcart dealers in the other thread (go there for a list of places to buy from), which has most of the larger, more well-known dealers. What about the smaller names, the sites thats no one has heard of? The sites that go around, and hire some guy to spam up boards with links to their site made up of shitty product at 200% markup ("hi gaiz i bough ma r4 @ derpderpderpderp.derp dey hav bezt prizs availb!").

Well here's your advertisement douchebags.

None of these sites should ever be purchased from, for one or many of the following reasons:
  • Poor customer service
  • Does not update pages when out of stock
  • Buys out ALL the product from places like DealExtreme so the common man can no longer purchase from them
  • Marks up their product by insane amounts (think 200+%)
  • Has been known to take money and never reply back to the buyer
  • Straight-up scam site
  • Makes accounts on boards like this to go around spamming their shitty site
If you see someone spamming a site on these boards, or know of one thats not on the list, please send me a PM with a link to the spammer's profile. This is a community effort, lets spite them out of business together!

THE LIST

A common practice of these assholes is to move their site to a new name once they've been found out. Below I have uploaded screencaps of all sites on the list for you to compare if you're unsure about the site you're about to order from.

For those who live in U.S. or Europe - don't order from Play-Asia.

Get a defective product? $130 or so to ship the product back

Could you add foundmy.com?
Why specifically? I've noticed reports to be quite inconsistent. Many people are satisfied with their purchase, while others seem to have a lot of issues (reminds me of DX eh).

Yes i know this from some figures i bought and i had to fix with glue.

I find play-asia to be fine. They just charge a lot of shippping, but stuff the package with expanded polystyrene nibbles.

^. What was the reason you got a free CycloDS Evo? Was it because of the service they provided in the first place or something?

I ordered from Divineo once. They were quite decent but I really hate how they split it into 6 different versions where the Chinese site gets more stuff than the UK.

Basically, the guy takes your money, then ships you the product if/when he feels like it. A lot of time people don't get their orders for weeks or at all. The only reason I didn't write a negative review or anything is because I figured they might be shipping from China, as it took two weeks to get my card. But other people have said things about the guy not responding to e-mails or claims filed to PayPal, etc.

Look through some of the stuff here or do a Google search.

consolesource is placed on the list because they label lots of their product as "in stock" while they have non (or should get soon), but people wait, and therefore, they are not satisfied..

There were numerous complains, so Urza named them here.
(I never ordered from them, I'm just answering the question)

It's funny that two of the sites that GBATemp recommends are two that people complain about the most.

Nice way for them to take the endorsement they've been given...

I second that, they deserve to be on the list

Item listed as in stock
Only after ordering, they claimed it was out of stock

I second foundmy.com

Add another for foundmy. Worst place I have ever used.

Rarely do I ever post but people should know how horrible this place is.

I'm looking for my email complaints now (that were never answered by Terry[the owner/operator]) to illustrate why.
