Hacking Quazi Wii update? (Virtual Console Store) 12/10/07

Hey guys, I just got the message (from trying to access the Virtual console store) that the store has been updated. To access it, you have to update your wii from the System Update option.

Has anyone tried? Should this really be a problem? I don't think so.. it seems like it's just the shop. Unless it's the firmware that Nintendo is supposed to release that cuts MP3 support.... etc.

I'm on Wiikey 3.1 U

I am actually saving SMG for Xmas day. I haven't tried it yet.

I have 1.9 B btw.

..just logged into Wii store.

Oh! Photo Channel 1.1 is available to DL from the store.... is that old news?

Yes SMG works i was just at my friends house who has a copy of SMG and a modded wii. He updated and it worked fine for him.

I've updated. Love the new Photo Channel. Being able to set a picture for the icon is great. It gives the Wii menu a more homely feel

The shop channel icon and flash has also changed, looks good. Firmware is still 3.1E though.

NTSC Wii updated, running Wiikey 1.9g. No problems, SMG still works.

You can downgrade the Photo channel if needed rite? I heard tat option is there.

Yes, just delete the channel and it goes back to 1.0
