Gaming Pokemon Diamond/Pearl on SupercardDS One

[ sry about repost but im so frustrated! ]

GAH! zomg oki i guess one downside to not being allowed to post sites falls into my problem...

I got a supercard ds one and i downloaded both diamond and pearl from my locak rom sites =P problem is, NONE OF THEM WORK o.o i get dual white screens. My supercard isnt broken because it still runs my other games just fine.

sooo... anybody got a supercard ds one with pokemon working?
this is what i know so far: i have 3 versions of a dump for Diamond. I tested out all the sav size capabilities, and i own a supercard ds one with a RiDATA & Kingmax memory card.

Any help as to why im getting white screens?
If you have a working supercard ds one pokemon game please post your specs (save size, memory card brand, sd speed etc)

man i got it to work by unchecking the enable patch, but if you do that you cant save

im sad and angry

I can't get either to work on my M3lite. I have the same white screen problem. Anyone care to help?

Try setting the saver size to 2M. That might help

This happened to me also for Pokemon Diamond and also happened for Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2007 on my G6 Lite.

What I do every time is that every time I want to boot up either games, I boot up Yoshi's Island DS, press Start a few times, turn off the DS, then turn it back on and immediately boot up the white screen'd game.

Yoshi's Island has never failed me on this. It's strange. I've tried with other games, and it doesn't work like Yoshi's Island. >_>

On my M3 (the 2 slot one) it kept doing this do me...I just had to check the Safe Mode box and everything was a-ok

Dual white screens for me on ez4! the (j) versions worked fine though.

I'm having the same problem on my R4ds, and any other sd card stop working wtf is goin on with pokemon is it a curse?

I may have a fix, put the game in a folder and then start the game and make a new game save, it worked for me.

Technomage, please specify if this is for supercardDS ONE, and what options you used in order to get it to work. Any kind of step you took to get it to work fully, thanks.

Same problem for me on my G6 Lite.

I've updated the firmware to the latest version, used the supposed 'good' settings (force r/w, trim rom and soft reset) and still get two white screens.

Not even a HINT of gameplay.

If anyone can help me out here, I'll be greatful. Hell, I'll even try the Yoshi's Island 'trick' if that's what it takes!

i have a supercard MiniSD, and the game works fine, no white screens.
but i dont know yet if i can save proper

i just saved, and i turned my ds off.
boot it on, and started pearl again. and the save is right there

works like a charm!

Well i wanna congradulate all those who got theirs working on different carts... but it seems nobody's answered my question yet T_T does anybody ahve a supercard ds one with pokemon working? please if you do could you fill us in on the details of how you did it? theres alot of people in the scene who cant get it working on the DSone

UPDATE! Supercard DS ONE WORKS! =D

make sure you do the following:
1) change the save size to 2M [ by going to options -> file info -> then press CHANGE until it becomes 2M ]
2) in the OTHER menu at the top of the touch screen uncheck the ENABLE PATCH option (turn it off)

and VIOLA! it should work!

oh and btw to all supercard ds one users, i forgot to mention, if it still doesnt work it means your microSD card is too slow and you might need to try it on a faster card.

i have supercard lite. with the supercard patcher thingy i had trimrom unchecked and patch cartradge ticked and the game works fine

Pokémon Diamond:

Tested on following cards (Save tested also)
Save set to 2M FLASH, Also tested with 4M FLASH (for the cards that can choose 4M FLASH)

- R4DS /M3 Simply
- Supercard SD/MiniSD (Restart: Y / Trim: Y / Faster Game Play: Y / Enable "Patch Cartridge Access" Compatibility: High)
- Supercard DS One
- Ewin2 MiniSD (Press 'Y' to start the game)
- DS-X
- MK5/Express Card (Same as ds-linker/n-card etc...)
- M3 Lite (used safe mode, not tested fast boot)
- EZ Flash V (Don't use Diamond and Pearl after each other, you get then a faulty save, when you wanna switch start first another game to be sure the save on the memory is overwritten by another game)

All worked fine and saved fine
The EZ Flash has a little lag when saving (takes way longer then other cards)
Also be sure to use the latest unofficial EZ Flash V save list!

A little late but... For the SupercardDSone, all you have to do is drag-and-drop the Clean Rom (unpatched) onto your microSD card. Don't run it through the patching software at all.
