Hacking Can i brick my wii?

I used the modmii installation on my virgen wii and on a step it says install priiloader. DO i install it cause I CANT BRICK MY WII!! so should i still follow the step and install priiloader?

With any Wii IOS modification, there is a chance of bricking yo shit.

Just know that Priiloader is made to HELP BRICK PREVENTION so by installing it you're protectiing your Wii.

I have never gotten a brick from installing Priiloader (or Preloader).

true that this is the probably the most dangerous step of the process (w/o bootmii@boot2)....but modmii uses a version of priiloader (0.4) which has the least risk.... barring any sudden power failure during the process, you should be fine....the install only takes a brief few seconds...and the benefits are quit high: you get some brick protections and hacks benefits (region free, no save copy protection, updates disabled, etc...)

Why would you say that Priiloader 0.4 has less risk than other versions?

priiloader v0.4 was the last version to be released that used the old-style installer by default
