I have the r4ds and i enjoy it a lot, the problem is i want to see more icons at once so ive come up with this concept art but i am not sure whether there is anything like it

The game cover would be shown on the top screen and the icons would be shown on the bottom, if you selected the menu you would have a menu asking if you wanted to edit the theme settings or when you have selected a game it would ask if you wanted to select cheats for the selected icon

I think most people would agree that it would be able to save space and trailing down a list of games in order to find something which would have been easier to do in the first place with this style of theme.
