EDIT: Thanks to twiztidsinz I've got the Direct Boot loader working.

Now All I'm looking for is something that will allow Moonshell2 to load commercial NDS games directly.

And, if possible, support cheats.

PS. twiztidsinz, I bow down to you!!

Google is your friend: http://www.google.com/search?q=commercial+ROM+moonshell
First result links to: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=149734

While the guide is ~8 months old, the only thing you need to know is that it WILL NOT work with Moonshell 2.07 or higher, so you need to use 2.06 from here: http://filetrip.net/f8604-MoonShell-COMPLETE-2-06.html
I know it works since I have this EXACT set up.
When building YSMenu, make sure you use DSTT 1.17a12 http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=195808

As for the cheats, I don't believe that Moonshell supports cheats itself, there is no need to since it lacks commercial ROM loading, but it should take the cheats you've set up in YSMenu -- IF I AM WRONG, PLEASE CORRECT ME!!

If you can't be bothered to learn and do it for yourself, I can't be bothered to help you.
Sorry if you think it's harsh, but the instructions are simple and it doesn't take long to do.

Ahem... I thought I had made it clear...

Thanks for giving me the link and all, but it is too long and simply
too confusing for a simple user like me.
What I actually wanted was, in fact,
the Ready-made files itself. I've tried all the guides already.

Thanks though for giving me the link, but maybe you should read my post twice before giving me a guide...

(PS. Google is everyone's friend. I always google something before asking questions.)

I did read your post, the thing is... no one is going to link you the files here.
Yasu (the one who makes YSMenu) doesn't want people mirroring or hosting the YSMenu files, which includes pre-built versions.
The admins/mods here have and will remove links that are posted which contain YSMenu.

Thanks for reading my post,
Im not actually after YSMenu. I have that already installed on my card.
I also have Moonshell2 installed already.

So pretty much all I need now is:

_DS_MENU.DAT (not the YSMenu one, but one which goes directly to Moonshell2 on startup. I did find one in the GBAtemp downloads, however it didn't work. Moonshell just gave an error.)
And some additional files that can run commercial NDS ROMs (and if possible support Cheats as well)

So, you see, no rules are being broken in the forums, and Yasu is happy. I think that is pretty fair.

Download Moonshell 2.06: http://filetrip.net/f8604-MoonShell-COMPLETE-2-06.html
Extract the Moonshl2 folder to your flashcard (I'm not uploading ~60MB of files)
Download the Moonshell files you'll need: http://www.mediafire.com/?mkdv0vwmgnd
Run the MNSHLROM.exe file and choose the flash card -- not a folder!!

You'll still need the YSMenu.nds file.
R4denc will be able to de-encrypt the YSMenu _DS_MENU.DAT file for you.
Just extract the R4denc files to your desktop, drag and drop the _DS_MENU.DAT files onto the r4dec.exe file.
It will create something like _DS_MENU.DAT.DEC, just rename it to YSMenu.nds and put it into your TTMenu folder.

Thanks a ton! You're a legend! It worked!!!

Now, all that is left is something that will allow Moonshell2 to play commercial NDS games.
Anyone?

There is a hacked Moonshell 2.00 that loads ROMs directly with cheats although its loaders are buggy and since its based on MoonShell2.0 its more buggy and no 3in1 Support. Here it is.

Legendary!! It worked!!!
I can't believe it

Okay, that's all I needed. Thanks so much to

twiztidsinz for providing the direct Moonshell2 booter
and
WarioN64 for providing the NDS direct player and also USRCHEAT.DAT support.

That looks like all I needed. This topic can be closed!
Thanks everyone!

(PS. Moonlight, thanks for making Moonshell2

)

Only problem is, the moonshell linked is that the loader used probably quite outdated.
It looks like the archive is from 2009-10-21 (Oct 21st).
There is an update dated on 2009-11-17 (Nov 17th), but that's nowhere to be found.

You can read up on it here: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=192401
But all links to fw211.com are broken.
