Hacking All Firmwares for the R4

I am going to post here all the firmwares for the R4DS and its clones. I won't be listing all of the clones firmwares since there are a lot of CLONES. I will post the ones that are popular and which most have. If I forgot to post a R4 that lots of people have please tell me so.

R4DS (r4ds.com)

Latest official firmware - 1.18 2008-04-24
Latest unofficial firmware by R4li - R4 v1.24

Moonshell2 for R4 by FairyWings[fw211.com] (Thanks to Normmatt who uploaded it) -Moonlight V1.02 R4 Version

You can also just go to www.linfoxdomain.com and find other R4 firmwares that I didn't post. Thank you linfoxdomain.com for uploading those firmwares. All the firmwares that I posted up are the English version.

If your R4 is a R4 Clone than YSmenu and Moonshell2 for R4 will definitely work for you. If your R4 is a Acekard clone than only YSmenu will work for it. If your R4 is a DSTT clone than YSmenu and Moonshell2 for DSTT will work for it.

There are so many teams now that are working on the regular R4. Which is good. I don't even know which firmware to use on my R4 right now.

and that would be the R4 SDHC Upgrade REVOULTUION

EDIT: I read deeper in your post, all is it is the site for the red box is www.r4i-sdhc.com so that should help and also latest is 1.12b not 1.11

I'm gonna keep my Original R4 Firmware (v 1.18) There are still a few problems with Moonshl2, but, other than that, it's a great firmware.

Thankyou, after 3 days of scouring the site i finally have some firmware that works for my r4 and my 8 yo should be able to navagate thru without much trouble

Good work on the list... can you keep up with the Chinese

They release so many R4 which are clones of AK2, DSTT, R4, etc that it's impossible to know what anything really is

i agree.. and i think there are a few more missing r4's

yesterday, i wanted to order a few clone r4 from DX and i was like WTF!!!
at the end of the day, i don't know which to get

however, i realised with all these clone wars ... the cost of a flash cart had went down

in a way, it is good for consumers but bad for those who doesn't know about the r4

Its pretty hard to keep track of all the R4 Golds. I found about 4 of them and they have different firmwares for there i version and there DS/L version. I don't even know which one is which. I will update my first post later.
