The MYM package is CONFIRMED to work with 4.0 U/E, 4.1U/E & 4.2 U/E. Just make sure to use the CORRECT base .app with MYMENU and install with MYMENUIFY

00000072.app = 4.0 NTSC-U
00000075.app = 4.0 PAL
0000007b.app = 4.1 NTSC-U
0000007e.app = 4.1 PAL
00000087.app = 4.2 NTSC-U
0000008a.app = 4.2 PAL

Installing the base app on its own with MYMENUIFY restores your SYSTEM MENU to its ORIGINAL state.

Tried Version3 and works 100%
For you who dont know how to install this here a easy guide

Download;

1.Unrar the MYM file.
2.Open MyMenu
3.In the first box, put the 000000xx.app from the unrared folder
4.In the second one put the desired .mym file from the unrared folder.
5. Click "Create MyMenu"
6. Rename the file created to "whatever".csm
7. Put this wherever in your SD Card
8. Now put your "mymenuify" in your apps folder in your SD card
9. Start homebrew then start mymenuify
10. Navigate to wherever you put the .csm file and install it.
11. Voila! Awesomley darkwii theme

Yup. Totally. The csm package installs easily with mymenuify. Only for 4.2U tho.

Also, those images must be from an older version...you can see that the menu is 4.1U. Am I correct in assuming there's no difference?

Too Cool. This was the only thing keeping me from upgrading to 4.2!
I love DarkWii, goes well with the black wii, and black items in the entertainment center.

It's exactly the same visually but this csm package works with 4.2U and the myms should work with any region from 4.0-4.2 provided you use the right base app.

Both are Windows only.

Don't tell me to do something that only runs on Intel! PowerPC Mac user, btw.

I have preloader....

But I can't backup because I have no GC controller to backup with Bootmii-IOS (Can't install Bootmii as boot2)

I know where to get the original app for 4.2E though!

those wanting the original DarkWii Extended for 4.2 can PM me PAL/NTSC done already including all latest fixes including latest page index icon fix (also includes other fixes the start button fix from davi92, and the updated arrows fix)

Yeah you can. You can use the console face buttons in BootMii/IOS now.

How do you make a CSM that restores the wii menu back to normal? I can't seem to find any instructions for that. I tried making a blank mym.ini zipped into a blank.mym for MyMenu, but this only gives a parsing error. I'd rather not redownload and reinstall the system menu wad and preloader just to switch back to vanilla.
