NEW Acekard R.P.G. Firmware

I have obtained exclusive rights to release this new firmware. Remember this is a GBATemp exclusive!

This Acekard R.P.G. firmware is a continuation of well known opensource unofficial Acekard R.P.G. firmware. The original source has been revised and expanded upon to include many fixes. This first public release is the 18th revision of the current firmware. This is an active project and should remain so. Please see below for more information on the changes and compatibility fixes of this firmware.

• 'link with gba' option added.
• new pockemon gba linkage patching.
• pokemon wii linkage support with special features enabled. in case the game starts from sd
• dma must be enabled for success wii linkage.
• traditional chinese localization updated.
• spanish localization updated.
• softreset core updated.
• softreset fixed in some games.
• downloadplay core updated.
• downloadplay was broken in dma mode.
• downloadplay in korean games fixed.
• cheats fixed in 'animal crossing'.

yes, but norm doesn't focus on rpg updates/fixes any more. the nand is very slow and he has had issues with bricking it in the past. i think his rpg doesn't fully work anymore and acekard no longer has the kits to supply him with a working unit.

this firmware should have better 3in1 support than akaio does.

Nope, think that just means you can connect the GBA games to the DS games in slot-1, to unlock special features in the game, for example like in Pokemon, where if you have an older pokemon game in slot-2 more pokemon can appear and you can transfer pokemon across. Think it's impossible to do any type of multiplayer with GBA games in the DS.

gelu is not coding now. gelu is not part of the "team," but some of his fixes get put into akaio by norm.

Veri nice, but..

Acekard team and AKAIO team are disappointed me.
Much delay to release fixes or Loaders for Acekard 2.
When will be released a new loader?
