LOL You have to love Valve for there sense of humour though had the whole internet believing it was going to be the sniper update and it was the spy in disguise all along

BONK ekks dee XD SO RANDUM, though BONK did serve some useful purpose in my friends business assignment (he made an machinima) and got good marks.

It's most likely caused by the massive overflow of new people that this free weekend caused.

Yeah, I've never experienced a free weekend raid before because I don't play that often anymore lol.

EDIT: My bad, steam is going through a maintenance check.

Well, it happens each and every time and I'm getting really fucking tired of them since all it does is annoy those who already own the game.
 
They've changed how to get the new weapons. It doesn't look like it's through achievements anymore. The update is also buggy i.e. game crashes when backstabbing another spy in disguise.
 
Wow good way to ruin a game Valve.

I played for 5 hours and unlocked a gun I already had.

Other people joined the game, stepped out of the spawn room, then unlocked half the new weapons.

Anyone wanna buy my STEAM account?

That's a horrible reason to quit the game. "Oh no I don't have access to the new items immediately this amazingly fun game suddenly sucks and isn't worth it who wants to buy it!?"
People are really over reacting over the new unlock system, I swear... You can thank all those people who just dicked around in Achievement servers for this.
 
Quiting over something like that is just silly, Team Fortress 2 is just as fun to play as earlier with the exception that there are some new weapons in play which you may or may not have.

I for one got a Huntsman after playing for about 10 minutes after the update was released. After playing 30h more I still haven't received anything else but the Huntsman, not even duplicates. Sure I really think that this new system is awkward and not good at all, but that doesn't stop me from playing.
 
I played for maybe 2 hours and I got a Flare Gun, oh well at least I didn't have it yet (not much of a Pyro player). I really want the Huntsman and that jar of piss.
