Hell Hibou has released a new version of his GameCube Homebrew Launcher application for the Nintendo Wii. Using this application you can boot GameCube mode homebrew from your SD Card. This program should be used with caution as it makes changes to your NAND. If you happen to have System Menu v3.3 r1 or below then you should consider creating bootable discs instead of using this method as it's a viable and safer alternative.

What's New?

Any chance of running gamecube backups through this?

I think you can use the SDBoot for playing backup GC games. It sounds too risky though so I might use homebrew on my Gamecube instead when my SD Gecko arrives.
