Hacking How do I erase an ISO from a disc?

A couple days ago I just burned an iso on my disc but now I don't want it anymore, so is there anyway to remove the iso from the disc?

wtf, you can't erase an iso from a dvd-r or dvd+r, only dvd-rw and dvd+rw. I doubt you're using a rewritable media in a wii, usually consoles don't like those.

Just put it in your burner and run it backwards to un-burn it.

Scrub the disc real good with some alcohol, it'll take a bit but the ISO should come right off.

Don't listen to any of these jokers...

Just buy a new disc and pretend it's the old disc. You have to pretend pretty hard but it's possible. You have to make the disc itself believe.

Break it in half, the ISO will fall out. Careful it makes a mess.

Pop it in, load imgburn, and then attempt to burn a new ISO. It will ask to erase first, accept and viola. The process takes a while though...

Alternatively...

Tools -> Drive -> Erase Disc -> Quick or Full.

I don't know what Quick is, but Full erases the entire disc and can take up to 30 minutes to complete.

Why are you using DVD RW??? consoles dont like those dvds, just go buy some DVD-Rs and you are set to go, forget RWs...

Pop it in the microwave for no longer than 4 to 5 seconds.

actually nvm it turns out my disc was a DVD-R, so now what am I going to do?

There's no way I can delete the image file at all?

Remember. The wii only really accepts HD-DVD-r. You need to stock up on those. Only then will you truly be able to erase what is on them, even if they are writeonce media like DVD-r. You will also need to buy an HD-DVD burner to burn it. Hope this helps.

no thanks, I'd rather just keep the DVD-Rs that I have.

since I can't erase the ISO now, I'm stuck with Animal Crossing City Folk on that disc.
