Yeah, I'm trying to get all the forms as well as complete the Pokedex and it's been such a pain with Sinistea. I can't even find a Cracked Pot just to evolve the phony form into Polteageist, all I have is the Chipped Pot.

I might be mis-remembering but I feel like I saw a cracked pot at the auctions??
I don't know I hope I am not misleading you.
If i recall correctly the auctions reset every 3 days (?) unconfirmed

honestly this is relieving to me bc i was worried about the fact i was banned for cheating on splatoon 3 once. Though that was something I don't think a clean save could fix, and I regretted it instantly (good thing i lost interest in the game shortly afterwards).

I'm glad I was never dumb enough to put pirated copies of games on my switch. If I really wanted to do that i'd just get a pre-banned switch to fuck around with.

If I get banned for having the illegal mons for some reason in pokemon, a clean save would probably fix it right? I mean, I'm not going to take any risks on my MAIN profile of course, but i just wanted to kinda clear things up for myself here.

For clarity about the Arceus thing it only checked if the save file was duplicated. A normal legality check is like "is it from the right game, the right spot in that game, at the right level?" etc.
It was a first for GF/nintendo (not sure who decided on that one)

by illegal mons by you mean unreleased ones, Shiny locked ones and stuff? If so while you don't hear about it often there are people who keep shiny locked mons in their save without any issues but just to be safe just don't. Or have a backup save and put them there.

game is crashing using codes for ver 1.0.1 in scarlet

I just tested the file again and it all works fine so please re read main post and ensure you followed all set up directions correctly

probably not. afaik the 100% just use the masterball pointer and do not interfere with nothing.


but for that maybe a critical capture cheat could be nice for people don't want a 100% but still a higher chance to catch xD

Yes because there's no anti-cheat in that regard.
At least there hasn't ever been. Who knows maybe it will be. We have to wait for the big brains for that one.

I wonder how does it work to have a special form of a pokemon, like this black crystal charizard in the game for an event but not be able to access it. It would have to actually be in the game already right? Since there isn't like a title update just to add it probably. Hmm. If so then allegedly possibly it'd be possible to force it to spawn like any other "form".
I'll be able to easily figure it out once pkhex works but I'm a FOOL who needs TOOLs and GUIs! WOE IS ME!!!

Thankfully part of the fun of early pkhex builds for a new game for me is helping to figure out the right flags and offsets for other things so it kind of becomes a side job.

No one knows except the creator of pkhex as they know the checks for legality more than anyone on this forum.

yes kurt aka Kaphotics is a classy fellow as well. You can expect he will get it sorted as he always has, but not till after the official release date to be sure. Maybe a week ish or 2 later generally Scires mikey https://github.com/SciresM and Kaphotics https://github.com/kwsch and company have it all sorted. Till then all we can do is be patient and appreciate what the community has already managed to provide prior to the games official release here on the 18th. For sinistea? i picked a cracked pot up off the ground as well! Turns out they are just laying about in the region on the floor willy nilly as well!
