PS3 on 4.70

Hello, I have a cfw exploitable PS3 on firmware 4.70. Should I update to the lastest firmware or can I jailbreak from the current firmware?

I'm not sure if bguerville toolbox will ever come back online, because most people didn't care about donating to keep it alive. I mean it was like, "well, my system is hacked, so I don't need to worry about this anymore." I don't know if it's still possible to use it older firmware somehow, but I would not advise updating right now.
