ok, so. Where do I find the hwfly chips or any mod chip that is compatible with an XKW5 running system version 15.0.0 and where would I go for a person to install it on?

I AM BEGGING YOU, I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR AGEEESSSS.

I just installed one in my V2 switch for <$80.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words…

which one of them is it and where can I get it installed?
HWFLY Core for V1 (unpatched)/V2 (patched), HWFLY Lite for Lite models, and HWFLY OLED for (of course) the OLED models. I don't know of anybody who can provides services for a modchip installation.

then where is it
`Where's what?
binkinator already showed on a picture that they are available on AliExpress, direct linking is forbidden here afaik,
If you ask for SX Cores, I was one of the last to get one in 2020, you won't be able to buy them anymore.

I mean I wouldn't buy a HWFLY for Unpatched unit, since if you want a modchip , Trinket M0 is the cheaper route
There's that as well, and I do recommend it over the HWFLY tbh. But then again, it depends on what features you want to get out of it.

nono my switch is patched its a animal crossing mariko xkw model
Go on aliexpress and search for HWFLY. The v4 is sufficient. The v5 has some redesigned cables so they upped the price but they function the same. Look for a shop that has sold a decent amount of chips with decent reviews. Then look at the various options they have available In their shop. The models will be V1, V2, OLED and Lite. Yours is a V2.

e: you can take it to any cell phone repair shop. It’s literally 4 solder joints (7 if you do the anchor points…I used tape). any electronics shop that does microsoldering can knock this out in an hour. 3/4 of the time is prep work. 15 minutes of getting the solder joints right.
