SD card cover keeps coming off

Are there any easy fixes for this?

Or do I need a replacement
I just want to protect the memory card as much As I can
 
I mean, an easy but ugly fix would be some reasonably strong tape.
If you can see that the problem is with the cover (like the hinge connectors are worn) then replacing it would likely work well.

Problem is i used sellotape shouldnt have
Caused sticky residue
Nightmare to come off

You could try duct tape, should stay on better than sellotape and you can probably find a black version. If you want it to really stay put you could use Gorilla Tape, also available in black. Sticky residue is probably a possibility with any tape, but shouldn't be too hard to get off with the right solvent.

If you want a real fix, and you don't think replacing the SD card cover will do it, you could replace the whole back shell.

I used nail polish remover and took a bit of the nintendo logo with it
Smh wasnt good
Thats why im worried about duct tape doing the same thing
