I recently downloaded The Walking Dead Season 1 from the Xbox Gamepass on PC
and ever since there hasnt been any sound in the game. i downloaded season 2 to check if its a season 1 problem but still the same problem no sound!
If any one has any solutions please tell me because i cannot play the game without it.

Looking around, sound problems seem to be quite common with TT games.

What sound card/chipset do you have and is it a prebuilt?

Are you using the Mobo/OEM supplied drivers, default windows or the latest Sound maker?

Are you using headphones or speakers/ are any plugged in?

Headphones

To confirm, your setup is the sound is passing through the GPU to your monitor/TV via HDMI or displayport and you've plugged headphones into the monitor/TV?

Does it work when you switch to onboard/motherboard sound?

edit:

I also presume you've had no other issues with other software?

No, i have my headphones plugged into my pc like the headphone port

and no i have the same issue with some games, overwatch 2 had the same issue so I just changed the audio format to the highest one and it worked. but I keep changing it for other games and they still have no sound.

also sorry if i misunderstand you

Try checking the default sound device in the Windows sound settings, AFAIK Nvidia will be the GPU, not the onboard sound of the PC/Mobo.

Something along the lines of this to change the default device from Nvidia:

On my current system, the built in sound is called "speakers (High Definition Audio Device)".
oh ok and its just my headphones and something called digital audio, tried digital audio and still no sound.

by the way i dont think it has anything to do with my system because ive tried everything from my computer and still nothing worked. Its probably from the game itself and not the audio settings of the game like the game files maybe not sure
