DS firmware on 3ds

I just tried and this worked for me:

1. Download NTRLDR
2. Extract ntrldr.7z, extract ntrldr.zip inside that, and copy ntrldr.nds wherever you put ROMs on your 3DS SD card
3. Download firmware.nds, I can't help you with this as per site rules but it was very easy to find
4. Copy firmware.nds to sd:/_nds/ntrldr/firmware.nds
5. Run NTRLDR from TWiLight Menu++

Are you loading it from TWiLight Menu++? Make sure your TWiLight Menu++ is up to date and you're using all default settings for this ROM.

yeah, I guess it lets you do Pictochat and Download Play but those are both already possible. Maybe load carts too but again there's better ways.

A forwarder shouldn't be necessary, just install it as a CIA. I've attached a CIA conversion since the official release doesn't have one.
