the settings.ini is created at first boot up, so there's no need to copy it, but it does allow you to do things like full screen, at least with windows, probably linux as well. You can also grab the setting.ini from the vita port. Not entirely sure they all work but it does change the username in the green box that pops up at start to anything you choose lol so we know it does work! Tapping the top left of the screen will bring up the dev menu for level select n stuff too. (careful if menu tho or you tap the buttons!)
Thanks to @sonictopfan for that info
I don't think the wii u creates one, i dont remember seeing it but i could be wrong and yeah, it covers all that stuff. Haven't tinkered with them yet as I'm happy with how it looks on gamepad.the settings.ini is created at first boot up, so there's no need to copy it, but it does allow you to do things like full screen, at least with windows, probably linux as well.
I know you can decompile the data.rdsk, not sure if all of them work with it, but the 3ds one I built iirc, I disabled mod, because I heard it crashes immediately if it's enabled. probably needs to be fixed. all the rest are enabled. decompiling it creates a data and unknown folder. I heard the unknown folder is a data track that can't be identified. there's only one file in there, so you should be able to use a decompiled version, and rename the rsdk file.I don't think the wii u creates one, i dont remember seeing it but i could be wrong and yeah, it covers all that stuff. There's also a mod option but not sure whats available and if they work. Anyone tried this at all?
I decompiled an rsdk, but I haven't tried it on any system. however, I don't think it likes it if you have both it decompiled and the data.rsdk not renamed. not sure what would happen then.Ooh unidentified data track.... Sounds intriguing!!
where does the data.rsdk go? that's the only thing not clear to me.
Sounds like the port doesn't implement ProcUI and other related stuff correctly? As a workaround try pressing the power button on the gamepad for ~2 seconds before trying to exit the game. Yea, not the best solution, but at least it should be a clean shutdown instead of a crash.Now... how do I get out of Sonic Mania Wii U without the Wii U crashing and having to turn it off?
When i try this i get a error message. The procedure entry point GetSystemTimeAsFileTime could not be located in the dynamic link library api-ms-win-core-sysinfo-l1-2-1.dll.here's the windows build.
not sure. I'm on windows 10. I just retested it, and it ran fine for me.When i try this i get a error message. The procedure entry point GetSystemTimeAsFileTime could not be located in the dynamic link library api-ms-win-core-sysinfo-l1-2-1.dll.

@godreborn Clearly a Windows issue. As told: Either Win 7 just can't do it or there's some update missing.ms-win-core
All good now that helped. thank you.btw, make sure you have the data.rsdk file in the same folder as the exe.
