Will this homebrew app be able to read my saves created by checkpoint app?
Why do you want that? Is there something wrong with checkpoint? All the save utility apps have the game save either plain or zipped so in that sense they are all compatible as long as you know where the files are suppose to go

I’m still a novice at this. I’m trying to learn as I go. Sorry for all the questions, but my idea is I wanted to learn what everything I’m installing actually does, so next time I have to install something I can recognize what a similar file is and know how it all works.

I did some googling and apparently the folders in the contents are sysmodules I guess? I still need to learn exactly what they are.

I’m going to install it soon, just wanted to learn that’s all.

nop, if your read is a cheat editor, some time WAS a save editor but edits the game ones no backups.
Breeze can edit cheats. Edizons cannot edit cheats. Edizons can save and backup game save for user saves. System saves (BCAT, for example ACNH use that) checkpoint also don’t support. Breeze has no save backup feature. Edizon let’s you edit save if a config file is made for it.

Checkpoint was not opening for me. I got it to work now. Had to update

Hi,
As a complete newbie on "Edizon", I'd like to know if I need to backup my saves before or if it will create a side file relative to the game cheated ?
If only using cheats, do I have to install "Breeze" ?
Thx for your answers

No trouble. That’s one of the amazing benefits of a community forum such as GBAtemp.

Edizon will not make automatic backups of your saves. You can do that on your own if you wish. If this is the first time you are going down this route I highly recommend using Tesla, as it provides an in game overlay of your cheats so you don’t have to open any apps. You can just turn cheats off and on, on the fly.

quick question: my edizon tesla overlay is kinda buggy. when i try to click it in tesla, tesla crashes, and it wont open again by pressing the known button comb. this can only be fixed after replacing the edizon files. the nro app works fine tho... tesla overlay works completly with emuiibo...
any fix you guys can think of? thanks in advance
