Hello. I have a problem with my OLD 2DS. I jailbroke my 2DS a while ago last year and I installed a lot of games.
But this year, I have experienced a banana peel slip. I was playing Super Mario Maker for 3DS and then I put in a cheat code on the game and it did an exception error so I shutted down the DS.
2 days or so later, I find that when I turned on my 2DS, Every game I have and all the apps I installed like FBI and GBA are gone.

I looked at the system settings and went to data management and went to software and all the titles are still there and there are no X's.

I still have DSiWare titles and I even have TwilightMenu++

I even tried out formatting the sd card and testing if it's corrupted, It was not corrupted so I copied the files back and the games and apps have not appeared yet.

Any help on this?

Try running faketik. If that doesn't work it's likely that somehow your Nintendo 3DS folder got corrupted on your SD since DSiWare (and TWiLight) are installed to NAND but 3DS programs are installed to SD.

Any way to fix this yet? Have the same issue right now...

If there is corrupted files on the 3ds folder on the sd card, You'll have to format the card.
Run FBI and use it to display a list of your installed titles they will be color coded the corrupted file may appear in red use Google to verify that it's not a system title in the case that it is you will need to replace it otherwise you can simply delete it

Alternatively you can manually look through your title ID folder using a pc and use Google to compare the title IDs found within it to the actual games title IDs for every game/app you have installed

Or you can scrap your entire folder and start over with no games installed

No need to format

Using FBI to delete stuff one does not recognize is generally not a good idea.

The first thing you should do is as described in the OP: copy everything off the card (preferably with Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier since your card might be going bad), format the card, test the empty card with h2testw, and then copy everything back again.

@Jaapkadaver @TrizzlerTV First make sure your sd card is not faulty or dying, by testing it with h2testw with the write+read option.
Format it as FAT32 32kb cluster size (or 64kb if it's +64GB card) before and after the test.
Obviously, backup your data before doing the test.
- If it passes the test, format it and copy everything back to it. And run faketik to reinstall the tickets.
- If it doesn't pass the test, then it's indeed faulty, so you'd a new replacement sd card. And you should do the same to the new sd card even if it's new.

I tried to get everything of my SD card, but the file maps: luma, config and nintendo 3ds I can't take of to my pc. I did homebrew my DS the way this video explains ,, somewhere in the proces I made a backup. Is there like a way where I can bring my DS back to the state where it is ''just homebrewed'' with the 5 apps like FBI, Updater and that stuff. that way I can just start all over with puting games back on it. I haven't made any progress in games so I don't care to start over. I just wanna play on my 3DS again right now, but I can't seem to find a way fixing this issue... Thanks!

You can't copy those files? Ok fine.

Yes. If you still have cia files on your cias folder on your sd card, so you can install them again. Otherwise you need to download them again anyway.
For starting over, keep just the cias folder and follow the guide here to set up everything back.
but I can't seem to find a way fixing this issue...
What issue? Can you boot into the home menu or not?
Can you access Luma3DS menu when holding select on boot?
Are you encountering an error, like Arm11 error?

@Jaapkadaver And btw before doing any of the above, i highly recommend testing your sd card with h2testw (with the read/write setting) to make sure it's not faulty or defective. Format it as FAT32 32kb cluster size before and after the test.
- If it passes the test, good, do the stuff i suggested in my first comment.
- if it doesn't, then it's faulty and you need to get a new replacement sd card.

Did you use Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier, which I linked in my earlier post?

I have no idea why you'd try faketik without testing the SD card for corruption first, because odds are any problem that's going to be fixed by faketik is going to be related to SD card corruption.
