Uninstall and Install another version game problem

I installed the latest version of Minecraft, after a few days of playing, I wanted to move to an earlier version, deleted the entire Minecraft and save from it. However, the game is still written in need of an update. How do I remove a game so that I can install earlier versions? I also deleted the game via Goldleaf and nothing works

If You Have CFW, You Can Use An App Called "DBI" And Select "Browse Installed Applications" And Find Minecraft, Press +, And Select "Reset Required Version" Then Launch The Game!

If you're ever wanting to roll back versions for a game, all you gotta do is uninstall the update, then in either tinfoil, goldleaf or DBI, you gotta reset the required version for the game your wanting to downgrade, then install whatever update you want. Warning tho, not all save files are compatible with the game being downgraded, so you would have to delete the save and start fresh if that's the case

Yeah use DBI. It's so fucking good. You can just uninstall the update only.

You install that version. Or you uninstall only the update that you don't want, then reset the required version, then just play it.
