Update not showing, base game only

Hi And thanks for reading.

When i use a game with the update integrated into the base game, the ps4 is recognising the game as base game only, is it not recognising the update.
IE If i have a version 1.1 update integrated into a base game, the ps4 states it is version 1.0, not 1.1
Is there anyway around this. How can i get the ps4 to recognise the game has been updated.

An update and base game merged only increases the master version, not the app version. A base game, even with merged update, can only be app version 1.00.

If you want to PS4 display proper version of game check this
Put game in GAME folder and use option 6 - Fix game info. Final result will be small update file around 5-10mb which will display proper version of game on PS4.
