Hardware 2DS XL charging port broken?

On my 2DS XL, the charging cable is loose and the system itself does not charge. This was my second 2DS XL after the first one's screen broke, and I do not want to have to get a new one. Is there anything I can do?

Replace the charge port and then get the charging dock

If you can unscrew the system i can walk you through a manual fix or conversion of the port to maybe an android USB port or any other type.

@Shadow#1 Google some videos on how to unscrew a 2DS. I should be able to give a solution then.

How do you replace it with type c? I’m about to do a shell swap and it would be great if I could ditch the Nintendo charger

You can order the port from any online store. You can also get from a electronic store or pawn store.

That would be so helpful! I am struggling a bit with unscrewing the system, but I'll definitely get back to work on that

And I am thinking of a USB-C charging port, maybe? I might go with that...
