Why? A dev 3DS is so much cooler than a regular 3DS. Why turn something special into something you can get on every street corner?

You can install Luma & Boot9strap-devkit on a development unit.

You can also convert Decrypted 3DS roms to Dev Signed CIA using 3dsconv with the --dev-keys parameters, your 'dev' console boot9.bin file and a certchain-dev.bin file.

Ihaveamac 3dsconv Github

Your 3dsconv folder would have the following files:

3dsconv.exe
boot9.bin
certchain-dev.bin

You would convert a single 3DS Decrypted Rom using the following command (Replace the decrypted_game.3ds with the file you want to convert).

3dsconv.exe --dev-keys --boot9=boot9.bin decrypted_game.3ds

It's a European version of the machine. I don't have the ctrnand file of the European version of the development machine. It's hard, and I want to see if it can brush the retail system like psvita

I Know,:D

You have the unit but no corresponding ctrnand?
Isn't it a brick then?

Imagine this was done intentionally by the previous owner to prevent anyone else from getting a working dev unit.

yes,i have old3ds-JPN-development machine, which can extract ctrnand and brush it into use. It can be turned on, but it is a European version machine, which is not perfect!
I feel terrible........

If it can turn on and run, you have something to work with. Dev units are moddable with bootntr just like retail ones. You just need a compatible flashcart and a magnet. (The magnet is to put it in sleep mode while it's open)

I kown, however, the fault remains the same. I mentioned transferring ctrnand earlier, which means I have hacked it

I found many old3dsll ERU development machines that can enter the system in China's second-hand stores. I have purchased one to extract ctrnand, so I have two ERU development machines:D:D
