Tinfoil is not installing for some reason using any of the download methods. I've tried self installer, nsp and applet version and they all don't work.

When I try the self install version is says "checking software" for a while and then comes up with error code 2155-8007. Every other method has something similar happen with an error message popping up ever time i try to install it. Another weird thing that's happening is when I try to launch fusee from hekate it doesn't work and says "unable to mount sd card" although other CFW can read the sd card perfectly fine.

Please can someone help me with this I've been struggling with it for ages and I don't know any other way to install games without using tinfoil that don't come with a risk of bricking the console.

Also check your Sigpatches. Tesla needs them in order to be installed. Either of these links should do:

I bet your problem is that you’re using “guides” that tell you to use pre-compiled .zip packs, or crap like aio updater. I just finished a mod chip install yesterday, so I literally installed everything from scratch, and tinfoil runs without issues.

Assuming your card is already formatted as fat32:

Delete your entire atmosphere and bootloader folders.

Extract the latest atmosphere (1.3.1) onto your sd.

Extract the latest hekate to your sd

Extract the latest sigpatches from itotaljustice on github.

Drop the latest Lockpick_RCM into bootloader/payloads

Drop the latest of whatever .nro homebrew you want to use, into your /switch folder (such as the tinfoil self-installer)

Configure, as needed, hekate_ipl.ini exosphere.ini, system_settings.ini, stratosphere.ini.

Boot into nyx, launch payload -> Lockpick_rcm.ini and dump your keys

Reboot to hekate and launch cfw.

Install tinfoil.

An extra thing you can do, that I can’t be specific about because of site rules, is to google the hats pack (including the youtuber name sthetix in your search will help you). Don’t just extract that whole pack, or you could run into the same issue. Just grab the only thing in /switch/tinfoil and copy that over. Make your your tinfoil.nro goes into that same folder. Also make sure you are connected to wifi when you run tinfoil. Atmosphere should be blocking the important Ninty servers if you are able to get into hbl…

Just use another title installer like TinWoo Installer.

Thanks for all of your info. I'm still having the same problem as well.

Basically, I'm trying to install a large XCI file that is too big for FAT32.

Awoo cannot read the split files.

So I am trying to install Tinfoil. No luck, nothing works. I keep getting either the generic CANNOT BE INSTALLED error, or when I try the applet version I Get the 0x0 Memory error.

no need to split files to install on fat32 (it only needed if you install from sd) just install via usb. personally i suggest dbi installer
