Stuck on "Wii U Menu" When Booting.

Basically last November or so (2020) I was playing minecraft wii u edition with jgecko cheat codes, when it crashed, which is a pretty common thing for minecraft wii u anyway.
So I rebooted and suddenly I could no longer boot into the wii u menu because when I did it just gets stuck on the "wii u menu" screen and crashes, couldn't boot into vwii either, it just leads to a black screen and prevents you from turning off the console, meaning you have to unplug it. homebrew menu works fine though. I was using cbhc. I do have another wii u but the sd card slot is broken, otherwise I would just mod that one. I honestly dont think it's bricked, since it can run homebrew launcher im assuming it's just the wii u menu that's corrupted

Did you install any custom themes or anything on this console? The fact that you can get into the Homebrew Launcher is a good sign. Depending on what's causing the issue it may be possible to salvage this with FTP software by replacing any system files you may have tampered with.

Last but not least, do you have a NAND or at least MLC backup? If it's bricked and not a hardware issue and you at least have an MLC dump from your console, you can restore it but it's no easy task. It requires microsoldering.

Did anyone look at the date? The Wii U in question is probably at a trashyard.

Anyway, pretending this would still be an issue:

Do not delete your only HB entry point! Instead put NUSspli on the SD card, boot to HBL, launch NUSspli and reinstall your Wii U menu (same region!).
