Hello folks, I got two simple questions

A) [Shiny Pokemon Left/Right Stick Off/On] - Patjenova
What does Left/Right Stick mean? Do I have to press the left/right stick? Or do I shift the stick to left/right direction?
Right now neither seems to work for me....

B) okay, maybe this one isn't simple, but maybe someone is kind enough to help out

100% catch rate doesn't work for alpha pokemon.

Been messing around catching nobles in post game after the credit screen and you can catch 6 noble arcaine if you want but once you close the game it noble texture will be no more.

both says you need to be at a certian star rank to catch alphas, currently only the in battle 100% catch works on alphas regardless of star rank level

Eiffel2018 revised 100% catch rate code works regardless of star rank level on the switch. I am using/messing around his codes starting a new game so far no issue.

Nah, it's a physical copy, and the updates were legit nintendo updates, I didn't start messing with anything until after the v 1.0.2 update, and at least when checking the game version in the app, it says 1.0.2, but when starting the game through homebrew it says some files are missing, so my only idea is that it somehow reverted when running homebrew. I can't update it through homebrew, but running the switch normally will re-download the files for me, only for them to be missing again once i run homebrew again

I do have a question...
Are you using a different sd card when attempting this or is it the same sd card?

So I am currently in a bind, I got to a point where I softlocked regarding pokedex research cheats. I was at the post-game point where you beat Adaman and I was trying to escape the area by talking to the professor.

I tried disabling the research cheats with the off command and letting it sit (5 minutes later - still softlocked)
I then tried using the all research x1 cheat, and now the game just keeps crashing (I assume this is because of a save error/corruption with the game)

Could anyone explain how screwed I am? Right now, I am trying to load a Windows VM so I can mess with PkHEX to see if I can somehow revert anything or at least take a look at the save file.

I am currently on v1.0.1 and don't plan on updating until I can figure out a potential way to navigate a fix.

However, when verifying checksum data for the save - it states it is valid.

Did you disable autosave in option before you attempt the cheat, of yes you might want to try blaine restore secret save file at restart menu up+x+b. no harm trying at this point...

the cheat affects all pokemons in the game, are you sure that it doesn't work on trainer battles?
