I recently bought a r4i3d.com card that has written "r4i3d F 2013", my ds does recognize it(as a spongebob game), the problem is that it goes directly to a white screen when I select it, so i'm assuming the problem is the missing firmware,it could be also a faulty sd card,I tested on another ds and it does the same thing, I don't think the problem is my ds since I have a original game that works just fine

Since you didn't specify it, did you insert the microSD with the right kernel?
Does it give you a white screen with no error message? If so, then that flashcart is indeed defective.
i'm not 100% sure I got the right kernel, mostly because this cart has an F printed on the left side of 2013, most carts that I find online only have only 2013

Post a picture of the beast. It makes things easier.

thanks for trying to help but i'm pretty sure this cart is broken, it doesn't even show a loading... screen, besides i tried a lot of r4i3d kernel and all of them just give a white screen

It is not certain that it is broken. Instead, it's definitely bricked if a game icon doesn't even appear in the DS menu.

Well, this is something not to do at all; try numerous random kernels hoping that some will magically work. That it's bricked now is almost certain.
A piece of advice: before buying a flashcart it's better to look for its kernel first and make sure that it perfectly matches the name and year of that one.
