Oh, right! When the trainer adjustment goes live, would it be possible to sneak in an adjustment to pokeball prices like in Renegade Platinum? There's so many more friends to catch this time around...

Of course. I gotchu. We just had a major breakthrough on trainers so we have to roll everything back, but small fixes like this will be easy while we're working.
so does this mod bring challenge to the game?
I got wiped by the first couple trainers when we were doing some testing, so I'd say so.

Just a question, have you done any research into Pokedex editing? For example unlocking the National Dex from the start or expanding the regional dex to mirror Platinum's? This is something I'm working on myself, but I seem to have hit a dead end (I'd post a link to my research so far but I don't have the permissions). It bothers me that in the base game they left mons you get in the Underground with a dex number of ??? and if we could fix that it would be so much closer to Platinum I think.

I had an idea of enhancing this game like a renegade style, but I just never knew how to get around doing it

is there any way in the future (if PkNX is somehow unable to update to BDSP support) of a tutorial on how to mod it in the first place?

Beta 3 is being tested in Team Luminescent's discord. Scripting is now possible, so expect as full of a recreation of Renegade Platinum as physically possible in the coming weeks.

I`m triyng to test the Beta using Atmosphere and as far as im concerned i did everything as told to intsall it (copyiing the romfs folder into a folder named like the games title ID and put this folder into the folder atmosphere>contents. But i dont get the new title Screen. Is there any other way in early game to detect if the mod is applyied correctly?

From our FAQ: "If you are on Atmosphere and it doesn't work (especially if one part works and other don't), set the Archive bit in Hekate to fix this. "Select Tools > Arch bit • RCM • Touch • Partition > Fix Archive Bit." "

Evolution table is EvolveTable.txt in romfs/StreamingAssets/AssetAssistant/Pml/personal_masterdatas

[0] 0 UInt16 data - this value specifies the evolution type

1 = friendship evo
4 = levelup evo
5 = no evo
6 = trade evo
8 = stone evo
Adding some:
9, 10, 11 -> various stats (mainly used for tyrogue)
16 - beauty (used for feebas, maybe others)

Also, the format for this is Evolution(method, methodArg(?), dexno, form, level) repeating
It should also be noted that there's 560 entries despite there being only 493 pokemon in the game, these remaining entries are for alternate forms (which are internally treated as different pokemon apparently)

We're also working on reverse-engineering the game and creating modding tools which is made a lot easier thanks to il2cpp inspection tools, though no ETA available yet.
