Alrighty y'all. Imma admit this here now, I don't really enjoy working on this anymore, I'll be making a how-to guide to skin the kernel, as well as implementing @EvilJagaGenius' custom Goomba, but after that I don't think I'll but updating this much too often, unless EZ-Flash releases updates or Jaga releases new revisions to their custom Goomba fork.
I understand, and I'd like to say thank you for putting all this together. The new skins and now the skin guide, the Pogoshell support, keeping it updated with the latest official kernel and firmware... it really is the best way to use the Omega. I've had it installed since not long after I got my cart and never looked back. Most of all, thank you for making all this open-source so that if anyone wants to make new updates from here, they can.

Update v3.5 (Base) and v1.1 (DE):
- Implement EvilJagaGenius' Jagoomba Color fork.

Thank you for taking the time for updating the theme, Stero!
It's greatly appreciated!

I can happily confirm that with this new version, Pokemon Crystal, the Konami Collection games and the other fixes are all up and running through the EZ Flash :D

This is not firmware, this is a kernel.
The firmware is integrated into the cartridge FPGA. I couldn't fit the Firmware into this kernel for whatever reason unfortunately. When you write the official kernel, you will be prompted to update the firmware. Once you do that, this custom kernel will no longer ask you about it.
Perhaps anyone could weigh in here. What is the correct procedure or is there one for updating the SimpleDE kernel to 1.1?

I attempted to load the latest V1.1 DE kernel per this instruction. So, I successfully loaded the official 1.02 kernel and firmware 3.0 as ezkernelnew.bin at startup by holding R. However, It did not prompt for firmware. The only thing I could think to do next was load the V1.1 DE kernel as ezkernelnew.bin. At this point though it said "Please use the OFFICIAL kernel to update firmware. Sorry". Trying to proceed, it showed that it loaded SimpleDE v1.01 successfully (1.01 is same as 1.1?) but same OFFICIAL kernel alert screen would flash at boot or when exiting games so clearly no go. Was able to restore to previous state by reloading previous 1.0 DE kernel.

U need to flash official kernel and simplede

Well, I think I got that gist. It's the specifics of that I'm having trouble with. All I know to do is flash the official EZflash bin with combined kernel and firmware from the EZFLASH site, I don't receive a prompt for firmware, and then do the same thing with the Simple DE bin file afterward. If that's correct procedure then it's just not working for me for some reason.

You need to install the latest firmware (Kernel 1.03 and firmware 4.0).

I confirmed that I was using the 1.03/4.0 file so that's right but then it would only show FW: 3 and K: 1.03 on the info page. Weird. I did notice though when I went to double check where I downloaded it from that the ezflashomega .com site only shows up to 1.02/3.0. I used the 1.03/4.0 one from ezflash .cn
