When I try to load game roms in wii64 I get an error message saying "error sd:/wii64/roms", the roms are in the roms folder, the wii64 glideGFX FIX94 emulator is in the sd card root. I'm trying to load Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine (us) and Toy story 2 (us), Why won't wii64 load the roms?. Nintendont won't load Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini bottom, the game is in the games folder.

I've tried changing the filename end to iso, gcm, cios, it made no difference, nintendont still can't detect a game file.

first off wii64 will never run indiana jones and the infernal machine that is a n64 game that is extremely hard to emulate becuase it had an exclsuive done microcode and those factor 5 games are all a no go on most emulators you can check the compatibility here
https://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Wii64_Compatibility_List

Second the games must be extracted, if you n64 games are in zip or rar you need to open them and get the roms out, they need to be files in z64/v64/n64

third the wii64 path is sd:wii64/roms/here

forth nintendont doesnt detect the game becuase its probably bad naming/patch

for nintendont to run games you need them to be iso and then you place the iso on

sd:games/anyname/game.iso

your iso needs to be called game.iso not just the last part need to be .iso, make sure your pc is not hidding extensions and you actualy end up renaming stuff game.iso.iso or have more folder in between the game and the games folder.

Thanks for helping, the n64 games are z64, I used the same wii64 file path, even toy story 2 didn't read, so I need to find a pal rom of spongebob squarepants: battle for bikini bottom.

if games arent being found on wii64 is becuase they arent on the correct place or your sd card is bad

take a picture of your sd card root, then a picture of your wii64 folder and then a picture inside the roms folder.

same for nintendont you dont need a pal rom nintendont is region free, take a picture of sd card root and then inside games folder and then isnide the spongebob folder.

I'll get a everdrive 64 it will be easier, since my N64 still works, the spongebob game was in 7z format (incompatible) in the games folder along with the nintendont read me file, I downloaded another battle for bikini bottom.iso, but the file description said it was an image file, also a dragons lair 3d gamecube rom said it was iso on the page, but when qtorrent loaded it, it was a rar file. What can I do with the rar file?.

7z compressed file lol you need to open the 7z file and get the actual game inside of it... 7z is the same as zip or rar.

those are compressed fiels to save on filesize for people to download less data on the internet, you need to download winrar and 7z programs to extract the games inside of them, have you ever used a computer at all?or even internet in general? an everdrive wont read 7z files eitehr you need to open then and get the actual rom/iso outside of them.

I'm new to roms, hbc, rar/7z files, I only started trying all this 2 months ago, the rom sites should add a disclaimer about compressed files so noobs can learn what to do, Is the standard win 7 extraction program sufficient?. I know the everdrive 64 is a region free cartridge n64 adaptor that plays roms (z64 files) off an sd card, I'm not a graphics snob, I don't mind the jaggies and some slowdown, gameplay comes first. N64 emulation is hard to get right, a pc can do it better with mupen64 and project 64. I hope the photos help.

bad path for nintendont...

make a folder inside the games folder and name it anything you want lets say spongebob

then put the spongebob iso inside of it, and rename it so its name will be game.iso only. take away all the text and rename it to game.
the iso itself has to be named game and not the name of the game itself, the folder where the iso goes can be anything you want to be named it doesnt matter at all.

so your path would be usb:games/spongebob/game.iso

image files or iso are the same thing also any rar file or zip or 7z are just compressed stuff, download winrar to extract rar files and 7z to extrac 7z files(i think 7z can also extract rar files but im not sure right now)

anyway if you got any game iso being called xxxx.img, just rename the extension format to .iso, also if your pcis hidding extensions, means it doesnt show the file extensions on the rename portion of the files you need to change that manually to not hid extensions, just google how.

Nintendont read the spongebob game with no folder, it works perfectly now, when it was in a folder it didn't read, weird.

First, the N64 roms for Wii64 mustn't have any folders for each game. It's useless.
Second, the N64 roms for Wii64 mustn't be compressed. Unzip/unrar/uncompress them, and check if the N64 roms have the extensions .z64, .n64 or .v64.
Third, the N64 roms (they must be uncompressed) must be ubicated in the folder sd:/wii64/roms (for SD) or usb:/wii64/roms (for USB).

EDIT: For uncompress almost any type of compressed file (zip, rar, 7z, etc.), use 7-Zip File Manager (https://www.7-zip.org/download.html).
Greetings :)
