The highest but safest you can get is 1758 mhz, anything higher would most likely destroy it.

Destroy what haha, cpu? You can safely run cpu even at 2.1 Mhz... It was designed for such clocks in the first place. It won't destroy anything, but you will most probably face overheating issues during long sessions and obviously it will affect battery life longevity.

you know when doing something that could potentially damage an expensive piece of equipment(AKA overclocking)

as far as the "safest" setting to run, it's always going to be stock settings

Assuming only CPU overclocking, is there a difference between doing it in Retroarch or SysClk? Apart from obviously doing it in Retroarch only affects games ran on Retroarch cores.

both comes from m4xw so i would expect very little to no difference
