I have a question about bans. Lets say im gonna buy a game, read and copy the data to the SD card and sell the game afterwards. Will Nintendo ban me for this?
I saw that pirating games like right now pokemon will issue into a ban real quick. But just because alot of people using the same game file right?

No, when people get banned for piracy, its because they were connected to the Internet. Having a hacked console even passively connected to Nintendo's servers runs you the risk of getting banned.

every time i try to lunch atmosphere from hekate i run in to a black screen Message

a fatal error occurred when running atmosphere
error desc : std::abort()called (oxffe)

i tried downloading all the files again and start over from the beginning and the same Problem appear again

Try running the archive bit fix via Hekate.

I have a problem with my switch since i tried to update. I think i had an obsolete tutorial for this and now, my switch isn't detected anymore by Tegrarcmgui... My switch is hacked with Hekate and Atmosphere 1.0. My OFW is 10.2 and i want to update with Daybreak on 13.1

When i put my switch in RCM Mode, the screen is black, i plug it in my pc and Tegrarcmgui don't detect my switch. If i want to turn on my switch again i have to hold the power button for 5 seconds and then repush on the button. It powers on the OFW, seems i can't access Atmosphere anymore.

Someone to help me please ?

Don't use TegraRCMGUI. Its very buggy and has been known to cause issues. Use TegraRCMSmash instead.

How do I restore my save data with jksv? I have the latest one and the - button doesn't work. I don't know how to restore all of my saves. I really would like to know so I can do everything right and not loose anything and be able to dual boot the new sd card soon.

Never ever use AIO Updaters as they are always buggy and cause more problems than they solve. Start over from scratch by deleting the /atmosphere folder and any other CFW related folders then download the latest ones from their appropriate GitHub pages.

Deleted my atmosphere folder and placed eveything from the atmosphere-1.2.4-master-e256261b8+hbl-2.4.1+hbmenu-3.5.0 folder into my SD card. Now I am getting the following error:


Error while loading fss0:
atmosphere/fusee-secondary.bin
Wrong ini cfg or missing/corrupt files!
Failed to launch HOS!

Just a quick question I have the latest Atmosphère 1.2.4 with 13.0.0 all sigpatches are current is it "really" nessasary to update my firmware to 13.1.0? I'm kinda idk are there any missing features?

Also a bonus question in some crazy event I want to downgrade my emummc can I just do it as I would normally by upgrading?

Alright, you're very close to booting CFW. In a recent update to Atmosphere, fusee-secondary.bin was renamed to package3. So locate your hekate_ipl.ini file and replace all instances of fusee-secondary.bin with package 3.

Firmware 13.1 primarily adds support for the Nintendo 64 controller. Outside of that, it is not that much different from 13.0. And yes, you can downgrade emuMMC the same way because technically you are neither updating nor downgrading; you're installing a firmware.

Tinfoil & awoo but with tinfoil it gave me some weird error that prevented anything from installing

I don't know if it is just me but I feel like my switch is running a tiny bit slow now when docked. Noticing more frame drops. I feel like it was not the case a long time ago. And the performance feels more smoother when playing handheld. Am I crazy or is it always the case? haha

Is there such as thing as clean reinstall of Switch? Kind of like the windows reformat for PC. I have my switch on CFW since 2018 and tried several stuff. Currently running on latest FW and atmosphere. 512gb SD always almost full - if it matters.

So i am having some problems trying to launch the new atmosphere. I was using Neutos which is a fork of atmsophere and updated animal crossing to 2.0. but i discovered i had to update my frimware to 13.0.

So i did the natural thing downloaded new atmosphere, copied everything all over and stupidly added the new payload into sept.

When I launch through tegra hekate launches but when i try to use fusee.bin the atmsophere logo launches for a moment followed by a charging emblem on the top left. Then black screen nothingness.

Am i doing something wrong? Ive updated sigpatches and everything but this is my first time using hekate so I cant tell if I'm just being stupid.

Ive attached a photo of what my sd card looks like. Any help is appreciated.

Well when you say weird error, was it the invalid NCA error or some other kind of error?

I had previously used tinfoil to update animal crossing btw. Idk if that matters whatsoever

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what would constitute a mod? Is JKSV a mod? I just dont want to lose ACNH save data

If you have an error code, its easier to troubleshoot using that. Besides, having both sets of patches on the same SD card don't interfere with one another. In fact, they are usually bundled together because of that.

I can confirm the game card port seems disabled as I have tried luanching another game that is not installed in the switch. It would not launch from the card and gave an error that it could not read the card. Is there a way around this?
