Be careful bout saying thats how you update a dongle. Every dongle isn't the same. Some dongles you can just drag and drop the payload on the dongle. For example, the one I use reads the payload from a folder off my sd and the name doesn't matter.

Just follow your dongles steps as they are all easy to setup. Use fresh atmos, keep anything important like emus etc. Its the same every update.

You have to take fusee.bin and rename it to payload.bin then open up dongle and replace old payload.bin in dongles atmosphere folder. This how you update the payloads every update on dongle. Then you need fresh files of atmos on sd card, no overwriting cause that usually causes issues.
