Now that Yuzu has proper downsampling, it's no longer a question if Steam Deck could run games full speed or not.

With Pinapple-Linux it's also very easy to download and compile the latest early access release on Arch (SteamOS).

I think my hype just went up even more.

I would need to see it run first, frame rate and Battery life is the top concern .. as if the battery is ridiculously low (hour) then there no real reason people for people with switch to use (other then tinker with) . But what makes me excited is that next generation might be perfect!

I'll be happy if it's 2 hours as that's more than enough for me. My launch Switch can barely manage that these days.

it might be worth a battery upgrade. I already done one on my primary switch. my 2nd switch needs one but its always docked

Is there a known good brand? All the ones I see on Amazon have very mixed reviews. I wish I'd grabbed an official one when they were still available.
