This is ridiculous. Why does a company that is under federal indictment for creating an illegal product that allows you to pirate games, still have followers? Just deal with HWFLY/atmosphere. It's much better anyway.

is hwfly still $160?

The amount of grief SXOS has caused to GBAtemp was fun to spectate, people just couldn't handle the fact that it was the most convenient solution back then
You misspelled "ONLY". It was the ONLY solution when I started using it. It was out before Atmosphere or anything else. Yet people always cry about them stealing code. Authors of said code should be flattered, but it was not involved with the first release. They did CFW on their own, just like they made the lite/mariko mod chips on their own. Who cares if after the fact, They see code for a new feature that they like and adopt it? They'd be stupid not to.

Other side of the coin is the same people crying about code thieves, are advocating using stolen mod chip designs. The irony...

I'm a fan of TX and can see the double standards too but it was never the only option. Atmosphere was available before Fusee-Gelee was released for anyone with access to a software based exploit to use. TX also 100% steals code, that is obvious to anyone who has messed with homebrew development on SXOS. In fact TX has never outright denied stealing code, they refused to respond to the accusations.

I think they mean it was the only backup loader

OOF. If you think just b/c 2 members are in jail, ppl should stop using it... is bias-ly wrong. The support of sxos is deader than a dead horse of this topic, but ppl will still use it for whatever fits their needs. Should I stop eating Subway b/c the former CEO was a pedo? No.
I'm seeing alot of false white-knight hypocrites in this thread, One cannot simply complain about piracy morals if you pirate with Atmosphere or PC- related content.

If Brickwait fansboys have taught us anything, it's that sunk cost is alive and well for those who continue to support and buy into these kinds of projects.
The hardware still works. My Mariko is running AMS right now thanks to TX. It's just their software that seems to be dead right now, unfortunately.

The issue with the hardware is that it’s no longer available and being proprietary hardware continues to be a limitation. Sure, they got it to work and that’s awesome but being proprietary added a layer of complications to the larger community.

This is gatewait all over again. You wont be getting another update. Its not coming back.
