Im really sorry if someone already figured out how to fix this in the Wii thread but everything I try is not working if anyone can help I will be very thankful.

Make sure zero patches are applied in the loader settings. So no cheats, no deflicker, no 480p fix, no nothing, and it should work

I have all patches off.

I used the advice of @XFlak a while back regarding this game, but it was on the vwii (if that matters). all patches disabled, and the game worked. still had my save from the wii on the system, since I transferred it with save manager gx iirc.

@Kirby12 If you're using USB Loader GX then this will work. And you won't need to disable any patches.

My next USB Loader GX update will make this game playable without the patch.

Yes, you'll be able to use cheats and apply other patches. Although the 480p fix won't apply until I release my next update.

Just this Kirby game, since it's the only one with a metafortress patch.

Ah that makes sense. While it's not metafortress perse, the solution for Juse Dance 2 was very similar to Kirby. Issue/solution described here

Sorry! Forgot to mention i use wiiflow because i have an sd card.

The solution is the same for Wiiflow and cfg usb loader. Hopefully you'll have more sd card loading options in the near future

Out of curiosity, are you able to detect the cios's installed to the various slots on the console? If so, I wonder if an "Auto" ios option that selects one that is likely to be compatible is doable. So for example, if a user has d2x base 57 installed to slot x, the auto setting would use it for COD, but the same setting would use the slot with base 56 installed when launching guitar hero games. I'm sure it won't be perfect, which is why you could still manually select the ios if the auto selection fails for some reason. Thoughts? Doable for a future future update?

which cios do I choose?

Probably 249 or 250, depends on what u have installed to those slots. D2x v10-beta52 base 57 is most ideal (which is basically the same as d2x v8 final base 57, but probably others will also work
