ROM Hack Question question about making your own amiibo's

can you do it on PC?

also i saw in some other website you can do it has a 3DS is that true.

i did look into it a bit you need NTAG 215 NFC Tags. is there a way to do that without getting those. let me know....

You can use emuiibo if you want to emulated them on the switch, as for physical hardware you have like NTAG215, Powersaves Powertag, and there are more expensive device like N2elite that allow you to save up to 200 characters.

I don't have a Powersaves for Amiibo so I don't know if it's the most current way to do it.
Keep in mind the powertags break after a bunch of rewrites (20 or so from what I heard) so try not to rewrite it often. You can buy extra powertags in packs of 5.

No idea. It's still better than NTAG215s which can only be written once, but with NTAG215s you get like 100 of them for $25 which will last a long time anyway, you may never use them all.

Powertags or N2 Elite are the easiest. Or buying the cheapest Android phone you can find with NFC and using TagMo. TagMo works really great and it's easy to use.
