I put Ivy Climb to a velocidrome and the game hangs when he tries to do ivy climb hahahahahaha

be careful when you put riding actions to certain monsties.

I put stealth on a Ratian and it works fine

I have a quick question, I see I can replace a normal astalos for a boltreaver astalos. Would this cause any sort of issues/get me banned? (I won't be using him online at all or anything) As he is obviously unreleased and don't wanna risk my save game or anything. I am on pc btw

Use Asterisk's PC - Switch converter. The editor only supports Switch saves, so you gotta convert to Switch, edit, then convert the edited save back.

The risk is never zero, but Capcom have a history of only banning people that get reported by others. So probably safe as long as you only ever play online with people you know.
Also the game might not work correctly if you try that, I presume not all the data is there yet for the unreleased monsties, so prepare for crashes/glitches

that makes total sense. I was hoping that as its already in the files and was removed from the base game the data might be there, but you never know I guess, but its worth a shot! The only person I'm planning on playing online with is my girlfriend, so I doubt very much that I will get banned by reports, but even so its still a bit worrying

Gotcha. did that and it worked but when I converted the save back and loaded up the PC version of the game it says the save is corrupted :/

I have only had success with the 0.9 release oft he save editor when using a pc save file and having to convert. Try that and see if it works. I've seen a previous reply saying that V1.5 of save editor with V1.2 of Save converter works. But I haven't tried this myself.

Not sure what I'm doing differently then, I've been using the save editor (0.15) and Asterisk's converter (1.2) and not gotten any corruption warnings. Have you made sure to put in the Steam ID into the converter during both conversion steps? Can't think of anything else.

Will there be a way to add gene slots to Monsties like for example out of the 9 possible slots, you get a Nargacuga with only 7 slots, is there a way to make available the two missing slots?

I am not talking about locked slots. I mean missing slots (black slots)

You should be able to do coop quests on your own. Start the quest in local multiplayer and go into menu, there should be an option that says start. It should give you an NPC teammate to go into the quest with.

by using the Rite of Channeling
cost 1 monstie for that gene slot you desired
