You should either add below timer what timezone is timer using or adjust timezone based on IP. :P

Like I need to add 9 hours to your timer to get my timezone.

Edit: Because I am stupid, I have made wrong assumptions.

Timer is set wrong as it should show 9 hours more.

Ubisoft starts at 12.06.2021 12:00 PT / 21:00 CEST
Now is 08.06.2021 14:00 PT / 23:00 CEST

So 3 days and 22 hours for everybody, not 3 days 13 hours.

but.. the conferences don't start based on time zones...? i thought they all start at the same time regardless of the time zone

Timer counts from device time, not from server timer. So if you are using device with different timezone, then it shows different value.

Like Ubisoft starts in my timezone at 21:00 12.06.2021. Now is 22:27, so it should show 3 days, 22 hours and 32 minutes. But it shows this

it shows 3 days 13 hours and 32 minutes for me too and guarantee we're in a different time zone lol

no, you're just assuming it works wrong, if it starts at a time for one time zone it starts at the same time for every time zone, regardless of wether or not it's midnight in a time zone or not

So how do you explain that it starts for me at 21:00 and it says 3 days and 13 hours?
Ubisoft main show starts at 12:00 Pacific Time (which is UTC -7 now). I am in CEST (UTC+2), so it starts at 21:00.

Now it's 22:37. How the hell 3 days and 13 hours is correct?

Answer: It has fixed timezone set to PT and it uses server time to calculate time left. It does not count timezone differences for users not from selected timezone.

Edit: Fixed hours, I was thinking it's 22:00.

OK. I needed to clear mind, because it seems I need to go to sleep.

So timer is set wrong as it should show from this point 3 hours 22 hours for everybody.
So timer needs fix.

Ubisoft starts at 12.06.2021 12:00 PT / 21:00 CEST
Now is 08.06.2021 14:00 PT / 23:00 CEST

So 3 days and 22 hours for everybody.

Fucked up pretty badly with my opening post, lol.

Yes, the countdown is wrong. But to simplify showing this, you could've just linked to the official countdown ;)

https://www.e3countdown.com/ <

There is currently 3 days, 21 hours, 52 minutes left until Ubisoft's conference.

@Costello
@shaunj66
@Chary

pls fix.

The timer uses UTC to calculate the countdown, so it is independent of whatever timezone you are in.
But that also means the timers need to be configured in UTC in the admin panel, which was not the case (in their defense, it is not actually mentioned on the config screen).

I've adjusted the timers. They should be correct now I believe.
Not the entire E3 schedule is currently configured, though. Let us know which E3 events are important enough to be counted down to. ;)
